What are Abby Home's opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 8:30 to 20:00. We are closed on Sundays.
Is Abby Home open on Sunday?
No. Our shop is closed on Sundays. You can still order online on Sunday, and we will deliver from Monday.
What does Abby Home sell?
Dinner sets, plates and bowls; drinking glasses, wine glasses and glass sets; mugs, tea sets and flasks; cookware sets, pots, pans and pressure cookers; kitchen tools and knives; food storage, dish racks and spice racks; towels, bed linen and home décor; and small kitchen appliances.
Can I see the products before buying?
Yes. Visit our shop at UTC to see and hold dinner sets, glasses and cookware before you buy.
Are your prices in Rwandan Francs?
Yes. All prices are in Rwandan Francs (RWF) and include VAT where applicable.
Ordering and payment
How do I order?
Order on our website abby-home.com, in the Abby Home app, by WhatsApp on 0790 005 254, or in person at our shop at UTC.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, eKash, cash on delivery, and debit or credit cards in our shop at UTC. Online orders are paid by Mobile Money or cash on delivery.
Can I pay with Mobile Money (MoMo)?
Yes. We accept MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money, both online and in the shop.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Yes. You can pay the rider in cash when your order arrives. Please have the exact amount ready, as the rider may not have change.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, in our shop at UTC we accept debit and credit cards. Online orders are paid by Mobile Money or cash on delivery.
When is my order confirmed?
Your order is confirmed once payment is received: Mobile Money payment proof, or cash paid to the rider on delivery.
Delivery
Do you deliver in Kigali?
Yes. We deliver to every sector of Kigali. Choose your area at the top of our website to see when your order will arrive.
Do you deliver outside Kigali?
No. We currently deliver only within Kigali City. Customers from outside Kigali can order and arrange their own transport from our shop at UTC.
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 12:00 are delivered the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 are delivered the next day, unless you ask for same-day delivery. We confirm the exact time after you order.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free within Kigali for orders above RWF 50,000. For smaller orders, a small delivery fee applies depending on your area, shown at checkout.
Can I pick up my order instead?
Yes. You can collect your order from our shop at UTC, Door 1.1, KN 4 Ave, Monday to Saturday, 8:30 to 20:00.
How will the rider find me?
The rider will call the phone number you gave at checkout. You can also drop a location pin in the Abby Home app to help us find your exact address.
Returns, exchanges and refunds
Can I return an item?
Yes. You can return or exchange items within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Call or WhatsApp us on 0790 005 254, or email abbyhomekgl@gmail.com, with your order number and the reason. Then bring the item to our shop at UTC or send it with a moto. Return transport is paid by the customer.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and check the returned item, approved refunds are paid the same day, by the same method you used to pay (for example Mobile Money).
Which items cannot be returned?
Sale and clearance items, gift cards, personalised or special-order items, and ceramics or glass that were damaged after delivery cannot be returned.
What if my order arrives broken or wrong?
Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or wrong, send a photo on WhatsApp to 0790 005 254 straight away, and we will replace it or give a full refund, including return transport.
Is the delivery fee refunded?
The original delivery fee is not refunded, except when the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Abby Home gift cards are available on our website.
What do I need for a new apartment in Kigali?
The basics are plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, a few pots and a frying pan, cooking utensils, food storage containers, a dish rack, towels and bed linen. See our Apartment Kit.
Which dinner set size should I choose?
A 12-piece set usually serves 4 people, a 16-piece set gives extra room for guests, and 24 pieces or more suits 6 or more people. See all dinner sets.
Will your cookware work on my stove?
Almost all our cookware works on gas. For induction, choose stainless steel or cast iron marked induction compatible. Call us on 0790 005 254 with your stove type and we will help you choose.
Do the products look exactly like the photos?
We show accurate photos, but colours can look slightly different depending on lighting and your screen. Visit our shop to see items in person.
Do you sell in bulk for restaurants, hotels or events?
Yes, many of our plates and glasses come in sets or bulk packs. Call or WhatsApp 0790 005 254 for larger quantities.

Yes. The Abby Home app is on the App Store and Google Play. App users get loyalty discounts from 3% to 10%, plus 10% off every Thursday.
How do I create an account?
Sign up with your email and password, or with Google or Apple.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email abbyhomekgl@gmail.com. We delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
